![]() POSTING FORMAT. A great deal of the roleplay will be done in third person style, otherwise known as "storybook" or "narrative" style, as if one is writing a story. All third person posts will be placed in the main community, Threads posted in the community will follow this beginning format: Post Breakdown The subject of a post may be whatever you want, so long as it starts with [OPEN] if the thread is active and [CLOSED] if it is finished. Character(s): All characters currently involved in the thread. Content: A summary of what is within the thread when it begins, for example, "Allen wakes up." Setting: Where the thread takes place, such as "out in the city" or "inside the Black Order's HQ." Warning(s): Any warnings that may be necessary, such as death or violence. Please remember to keep ALL posts G-R rated; no content over NC-17 is allowed. The LiveJournal cut is intended to hide your entire post so it does not take up too much space. All your threads must be tagged with the names of the characters participating in the thread. For example, "linali li, komui li," etc. Moderators will make tags for characters, but you must apply them to a thread yourself. You will be expected to post in the game at least once a week. If you find yourself "stuck in a thread" with someone who hasn't posted for over a week, you may move on to something else or skip their turn. - When posting in a two-person thread, rather than replying to each new comment, the first commenter should reply to the original post continually, while the original poster should reply to each new comment the first commenter makes. That way, comments will never stretch the page or get very small, and everything will be neatly aligned. Posts should look like THIS. When posting in a group thread with three people or more, all players should continually reply to the main post and try to follow the order in which they first began posting. Posts should look like THIS. First Person First person will only be a secondary way to play in the game. All first person posts should be kept to the characters LiveJournals (which is what the Apocryphas are!) and the comments in them. The other way to communicate in first person is by letting your characters have a conversation on AIM. In game, this will be viewed as communication between characters who possess golems. You may post a log of the conversation in ![]() GENERAL RULES. 2. Do not godmode or treat your character as a Mary Sue. Do not play your character as an entity of perfection that always has to have the last word. When you describe what kind of person your character is, you need to stick with it instead of changing their strengths to fit every situation as it comes up. Everyone has weaknesses. Characters can be very tough in this game, but they are not invincible, so please keep that in mind as well. 3. No drama. Think about the consequences of things before you post, do not mix IC and OOC, all of that happy stuff. If the moderators feel you are pushing your limits you will find yourself having a good talking-to. 4. No sex in the champagne room. That's right. The highest rating this game is going to get is R, and you can thank LiveJournal for that. There is also the fact that it seems every time someone tries to roleplay sex publicly, drama explodes, but that's another story. Any mature content must be kept out of the game; you're free to 'fade to black' and then bonk away in private or IMs all you like, just don't do it here. 5. The moderators' word is law. No questions asked. ![]() NEXT † JOIN THE GAME | ![]() NAVIGATION. :::: story :::: heart of all innocence † world :::: 19th century :::: terminology † guidelines :::: exorcist or noah? :::: journals & golem † rules :::: posting formats :::: general rules † join the game :::: application :::: reservations † f.a.q. ![]() † taken characters † friend add & contact info † absolvisti - IC † exaudisti - OOC † dedisti - NPC † majestati - MOD ![]() To contact the moderators with questions, comments, etc. regarding the game, please email them at absolvisti@gmail.com. |
