Introduction.

TAKEN CHRACTERS | RESERVATIONS  STORY. Britain is divided by a very rigid social structure, composed of three distinct classes: the aristocracy, the middle class, and the poor. But unbeknownst to any of them is a fourth: the Church, which does not consist of a horde of stuffy old men, but an entire secret order of men and women, young and old, who fight in the name of God with the permission of the Vatican. They call themselves the Black Order, and their warriors, Exorcists. And little does the world know, there is a heated religious war ensuing beneath the layer of all the petty political claims for land. But who do they fight against? The descendants of Noah himself, come together from wherever the family line has lead them, and with them, there is a strange man calling himself the Millennium Earl, their "employer," who wishes to destroy the world. The Earl also wields various Akuma, which are half-monster, half-machine, formed out of the souls of the dead. But why would the children of Noah fight so vehemently against those who claim to serve God? HEART OF ALL INNOCENCE. Out of all the Innocence exists, there is a very special one, simply called "Heart." The destruction of the Heart marks the destruction of all Innocence, though it is simply not a matter of finding it and doing away with it. The Earl discovered this when he finally got his hands on it: in his attempts to destroy the Heart, plans had backfired severely. Rather than ceasing to exist, it separated in countless pieces, and thus multiplying the amount of Innocence in existance, not only in their world, but in other planes of existence entirely... And now, the pieces of the Heart have taken the form of things that exist in other worlds, most commonly weapons and treasured items (and sometimes animals, or even the body parts of living, breathing people, although rare). When the object, animal or thing is touched, it draws the person in, into the world of the Order and the Earl, leaving their owners lost and confused. Not only have they been taken to a strange place, but the item they touched will be with them, in their hands, near by, or still connected to them. The items tend to emanate a soft yellow glow, signifying the Heart of all Innocence is dormant within and not yet "activated" for use. The power inside may become unleashed over time, but there's no telling if the person who brought it here is compatible with it (unless it is already a part of their body). It is also impossible to tell whether or not they actually wish to keep the Innocence, and they may even attempt to destroy it. These acts will ultimately decide whether they will side with the Order or the Noah family...
